I had a moment where the price was on ruby. To change to USD you need to click the arrow next to the price as otherwise you can't pay with PayPal.

Hipolink has always been super simple to me, tho tbh Boosty was too, only issue was figuring out which "donation" pool to pay the commission in and doing the conversion right before they added the ability to input amounts in USD.
