The sandstorm was over and Slifer looked around.
Everything looks quiet now.
But as he knows, it always looks quiet untill the monster attacks.
So he turns slowly around, watching every shadow in the sandy hills.
...
Quiet. ... Too quiet.
...
THERE!
He turned just in time around to hit the attacking monster under its head.
Chopping the head from the body he jumped and rolled out in the sand,
while the lifeless body of the big red wolf stepped a few meters away and sank down,
the head next to it in the sand.

Slifer: "Oh, sweet Mana. I hate this Isegrims!"

He stood up and searched again. Isegrims hunt in packs.
So there must be more of them. And he was right.
Eight more of the horsesize wolves came out of the sand and growled hungry.

Slifer: "Well ... Sorry for you, but I will not die here!"
