Annoyed by failing again to have a life which has her get together and stay together with Coeus, Dione in the Asphodel Bibliotheca tries to find some book in which things play out differently. "There's gotta be at least one where our relationship lasts until the end, right?" Well, turns out, there is, so that's the next life to live through.

This next life plays out very similarly as the previously shown one at first, except that some choice made along the way ultimately make Coeus never state wanting to continue by being only best friends with her. Instead, they stay together as a couple. How Coeus feels isn't changed though, he just... internalizes it all, due to not wanting to hurt Dione, though naturally it only becomes even more of a reason the longer this goes on, as getting out of it would hurt her all the more the longer they'd be together. So he stays quiet about it, letting her have this life with him she so clearly desires.

Their exploration of Achelous City while on a vacation on Planet Chronotytonida is how the two of them end up seeing their soon to be friend Tethys the Milotic here. "Damn, she's beautiful.", Dione notes but the serpentine Water Type Pokémon overheard that, now approaching them to say: "Thank you! So are you two." "I'm a boy.", Coeus remarks but Tethys insists: "Doesn't mean you can't be beautiful, does it?", the serpentine Water Type Pokémon then noticing the two anthro moths holding paws with each other, "Aww, how sweet, are you a couple?", before properly introducing herself, following by asking where the anthropomorphic insects are from. After getting the answer to that and Dione confirming Coeus to be her boyfriend, Tethys decides to show them around, noting as she begins to do so: "Hehe, well, who knows, maybe this is the start of a woooonderful friendship. Come on, let's get going, lots of sights to see! Though you probably already consider each other a pleasant sight, haha." After becoming friends, the two anthro moths would visit Tethys every now and then and otherwise just stay in contact with her through digital means.

It's also there but during another visit to Tethys that they get to meet her adoptive brother and husband, the gigantic Vaporeon named Oceanus, as well. Coeus can't help but consider the sexual implications: "The lack of biological relation does offer the opportunity to procreate without increased risk of genetic mutations in the offspring." Tethys and Oceanus blush heavily from that, with Dione trying to explain Coeus just casually stating that: "Uhh... he's a biologist." "Primarily.", Coeus adds to this proudly, "I'm primarily a biologist." "Oh I'm sure you know her body well, yes.", Tethys teases in response, which makes Dione blush and let them know: "A-Actually... I'm still uhh... a virgin, to be honest... He is very sexually indulgent but... I'm uhh... not so much." "Fair enough.", Tethys accepts that before Oceanus affirms: " "But... funnily enough, Coeus being weird about my relationship with Tethys makes him onto something. You see, Tethys and I are... not just siblings to each other, heh... y-yeah." "Hah, nice!", the femboy moth approves, "So anyway, Oceanus, with how gigantic you are, how big is your-" "Appetite!", Dione decides to quickly interrupt her boyfriend, "Like, uhh... I'm getting hungry, why don't the four of us get something to eat?", with Tethys silently wondering if Dione knows the "size" of her boyfriend, considering her evident chastity.

While on the way to visit Tethys and Oceanus another time, Coeus and Dione come across Charon the Crocodile for the first time in this life. Literally as soon as this reptile sees them, with only little hesitation, he decides to approach them. "Hey there, name's Charon.", he introduces himself to the two anthro moths, "Your vibrant colors are very eye-catching, in a good way. S-So uhhhh.... anyway uhh..." "And suddenly he stammers.", Coeus comments, "What's making you shy, crocodile boy? Never seen a cute femboy like me before?" "... Uhh... sure, would you want to have some fun? You know what kind." So Coeus then turns to Dione to ask her in a playfully polite manner: "Dear girlfriend of mine, am I allowed to indulge?" "Girlfriend??", Charon reacts to that, before Dione answers after a giggle: "I shall allow it. You can indulge all you want, especially since I certainly am not comfortably willing to give as much intimacy as you'd desire, haha." "You know what...", Charon however then changes his mind, "Nevermind. I'm not really feeling up to it right now after all." "Oooookay then.", Coeus is a bit confused about him taking it back just like that, "Well, we can stay in contact though. You know, just in case if you do change your mind back to wanting to have some fun with me, hehehe." "Nah, I'm good...", Charon responds in a way as if there is something he is disappointed about while also trying to not let that disappointment show.

Pallas lets the police have the criminal, after which the black skinned and red eyed goblin talks to Dione and Coeus: "See? I brought him to the police just like I said I would." "I wasn't sure if it was the right choice to trust you, to be honest.", Dione admits, "I mean, no offense, but you genuinely look like a bad guy. Especially with those claws. Though to be fair, if you'd actually smile, you'd probably look kind of cute." "I definitely agree on the cute part.", Coeus admits with a flirting wink towards Pallas who makes it clear right away: "I'm uhh... not interested. What's your names anyway? I'm Pallas." "I'm Coeus. And this is my... girlfriend Dione." "Huh... two other people named after titans.", Pallas notes, "From... what I've read about, I would guess you two are from Planet Hetrocera, considering your species." Dione is impressed about this guy knowing that, affirming it: "Yep, that's where I'm from." "Someone's well educated.", Coeus adds to this, with Pallas pointing out that learning more about the universe is precisely why he'd ultimately become a full pacifist. Then, even though they very much told him, he asks again to be sure: "So... you two are in a romantic relationship, huh?" Dione nods to that with a smile. Something about that doesn't feel right to Pallas though, he isn't even sure how to explain it, but he stays quiet about it, not wanting to ruin the happiness they potentially have.

Dione doesn't ever meet Charon again in this life, Charon denied even just staying in contact with her or Coeus after all. The anthropomorphic purple reptile is sitting inside his home right now, looking a little sad, even months after his encounter with the anthro moths, but telling himself: "Come on, Charon... there are plenty more fish in the sea. Get her... Get her out of your head already, you don't even know her." Was the encounter ever about Coeus to begin with?

With the relationship between the Rosy Maple Moths not ending in this life, especially considering Coeus's more sexual nature, there are of course plenty of occassions where he asks if Dione would want to have some fun too, though she always denies it. "Sorry, I know we're together but... it just... doesn't feel right to go for it with you. Even though I do love you..." One time however he brings up: "I remember... you telling me how you wanted to start a family with someone. Heh, you already knew that when we were still kids." "You're right...", Dione understands that her feelings of wrongness can't make sense when she does want to start a family with Coeus. So this is also the occassion where it gets the closest to them actually doing it, but she tells him to stop in time after all, which he respects immediately. "It still...", she lets him know,"... just... doesn't feel right." Even the way Coeus looks at her... he cares about her a ton, clearly, but she can't see the romantic love in his eyes that she feels towards him, even if she doesn't outright say that to him, not wanting to let go of him as her boyfriend, as it's something she does actually want.
