Ayame is a long lived Monk-rat. Before the time of camera and film. She remembers an artist coming to her home many centuries ago and she was chosen to be a subject of his Kaiga. While he offered to leave it with her, monks were not supposed to have any type of attachments, so she let him take it with. Just recently she visited a museum of natural history, lo and behold the image she stood for all those years ago has resurfaced. Of course no one believes her when she said it was her, despite her having the armor and weapons still.
