Despite how much safety someone like Grant the Charmeleon feels within their gear, it didn't seem to be enough. A new hobby began to form. Their favorite gear became more safe, but there was still something off about what was happening. His arms stretched out further. His tail snaked out longer. A lot of his body still felt exposed to the elements. With enough safety measure in place, a new conumdrum began to form as the previous measures revealed more work that needed to be done. The problems grew, mangifiying new ones that could be patched up and revealing new measures that could be expanded upon. Suddenly, Grant seemingly found himself so focused on his safety troubles that he snapped out of it. The Charmeleon had figured out the biggest safety problem of all. He couldn't move his body anymore, and there was nothing more to learn. The problem was now directly in front of him. Solutions were now beginning to stretch out of his reach. His protection had become his body.
