Or just plain Bashe, for short (in case you ask, he actually had the name Bashe BEFORE the Final Fantasy XII version ever existed. It was originally an attempt to tweak his original name, "Bash".) He's a Wulfdow, which is just Satarnis-speak for "generic breed of cuedow with doglike characteristics"? But Bashe here is unique in that he was raised since his youth by a group of Adere' - sea-dwelling cuedow variants. As such, his love for the Satarnian oceans is unparalleled...but being an air-breather, he can only go so far underwater...which is why he has vowed instead to master the waves, to honor the unity of the Goddess of air with the God of the sea with his whole being!
In other words, he's a Satarnian Big Kahuna. Dude.
...and yes, folks. I'm getting way too chatty about a what is just a practice sketch using a program using Artrage (free version). Cut me some slack though, this program's neat and I like my surfin' furball -_-

I have to get back into practicing with ArtRage again. I've got it sitting on this machine ever since my mum showed it to me (and i created a moc-up golf course with a mouse o.o; ), but i've yet to really-... do anything.
Meanwhile, Cuedow? Is this another pokemon thing? o.o Eitherway, he looks like a trippy sort of otter =,

Ay-hem. Cuedows -- rather, Satarnians in general, are my own creation, my own species. I've been slowly leaking some work based on that lifelong project to FA, but as there's so damn much of it that to assemble it all would take...well, not a lifetime, but close. Still, I'll probably toss more Satarnis-themed art in the near future to help people get better acquainted with that setting, sketchy as it is.
