Sonata the Eevee was walking through a wooded area one sunny day when she heard some giggling up ahead. Curious she followed the trail to come across a strange sight. A Raichu and a Flareon struggling to hold up a Shinxtail so that he could pick some blueberries.
"Hurry up. You're getting heavy!" The flareon moaned as his knees began to knock with teh weight.
The raichu tried his best to help his friend hold the Shinxtail up. he looked up.
"HEY! Don't eat them all. you're supposed to be picking them so we can all share!" The raichu said as the Shinxtail giggled
"Sorry guys. I just can't help it. I love blueberries" he said as he quickly stuffed some more into his mouth before grabbing a few paw fulls to bring down to his friends.
"Errr...What are you doing? Sonata asked shyly.
The Flareon smiled warmly at the newcomer.
"picking blueberries! only it's trickier than we first thought" He said as he tried to shift his weight a little bit better to support his friend.
Sonata watched for a moment then walked over to the tree trunk the lads were trying to harvest the berries from.
"Why don't you try this?" She asked tail whipping the trunk of the tree causing the tree to shudder and blueberries rained down on the four cubs.
The three boys stared at the girl for a moment then all simultaneously broke into large grins.
Pretty soon all four were sat under the trees having stuffed themselves full of their bounty.

Sorry I took so long to comment, I was trying to work non-stop on a trade.
And man, it sure is good that Flareons aren't weak to blueberries, otherwise there'd be a terrible accident. ;~; But instead, we're all happily full. x3
I absolutely love how you did me, you nailed my character well and made what I thought was a really ugly eye color, very pretty. Sonata and Yoshi are adorable too, you nailed Sonata as well (the best picture of her yet. ;p) But I gotta say I love how you did Renchu the most, he's so tiny and fluffy and I literally wish I could just give him a big hug, he looks like he'd sooo much fun to snuggle and play with and he's so soft and cute and he has his neat little sunglasses-goggles lookin' thingies and oi. I don't think that about many things but you did him really well, I'll even go ahead and say that he's cuter than me... this time. But this picture is still high above the competition, and the story is a great counterpart as well. Astronomically cute job!
And thanks again for including me in this, it was really nice of you to think of me. I still think I owe you one at some point. Ah well, its always good to have someone who owes you a favor, right? =3
Oh, and nice background! Its very foresty. A forest of blueberry trees... *rubs stomach* I'm hungry just thinking about it. =v=

Renchu does look extremely fluffy doesnt he. An over excess of shading and the blur tool will do that to anyone I guess LOL.
I'm also surprised noone has said..."Sam! Blueberries grow on bushes not trees" but I was gonna come up witha comeback saying they were actually some pokeberry type thing and leave it at that. Still I havent needed to say that yet LOL.
I'm glad you like the pic. Pokemon (especially first generation pokemon) are my faves and waaay waaay back I used to draw them quite a bit. I actually had a built in wardrobe that I had drawn all 150 pokemon on. Then I moved house and left it like that secretly hoping whoever had the house afterwards would appreciate all the work that went into it.

Haha, 20 years from now, that will be in a museum and worth 40,000 Euros. That sounds really awesome, I had a journal where I wrote on the first few pages to make people think it was a journal and then I carefully counted it to where I'd have space for all 150 pokemon. Of course, I skipped some of the harder ones and ripped out pages and then I was devastated because I didn't have enough to complete it. And now I can just draw them all digital. =D
