People get mad when I say this, but my favorite pokemon has always been Pikachu, even before the anime came out. Hearing on the school bus there was a pokémon in Viridian Forest that only appeared once in a hundred battles and was the only mouse has always given me a strong connection to the line.
Eeveelution is a bit harder, but I'm going to go with Umbreon since that's what my Eevee in Pokémon Crystal evolved into without me knowing and I grew to love him. There's something about that first evolution that sticks with you through time and space ❤️
