We are playing Pathfinder, and one of the characters has an adult son. The kid got blessed before birth, so he is giant, kind of a chosen one. And in the dad's loving eyes he can do no wrong.
But as an adolescent he tried his non-existing wings (hey DM, give him wings :P ) and left the family home.
Much later the dad went to look for him and found him in his lair with his many minions doing questionable things, planning to rule the world :D
