On a side note, instead of a traditional time machine that travels with them they're using a portal. Their connection to their present is through the hovering sphere behind them. I refer to it as a 'Tether Ball'.

little known fact, nearly every major earth crisis can be solved by pistol-whipping the right 17th century aristocrat.
of course, FINDING the right one is very manhour-intensive since you need to send a team to stop the previous team in addition to the team sent at the new target. case in point, there was a point where the number of 35th century operatives in france outnumbered the actual population of france at the time, which led to bustle coming into style...but that's really not a funny story.
i like the hairpiece, actually. it adds a bit of detail that would have felt off otherwise.
