Alex, perhaps one of the most loyal members of the Seeds of Evil, is often left out of gatherings and events due to his...unstable behavior.

None really know why, he doesn't say, but they always feel unnerved whenever Alex is present. He doesn't say much and almost always keeps to himself unless Lisa, Zach, or Esme are around.

He's also by himself a lot.
Even with his brothers around, Justin and Julius, Alex always seems distant.

Especially when he sees their father.

One thing that Lisa and the others swore on was that their loyalty would never be questioned, and that Lisa-as the Captain would have say in final decisions to try and act as the voice of reason amongst others.

Alex didn't quite understand why they agreed to such a thing.

Zach always seemed afraid of Leadership...
Esme was always too bullheaded and crude

Why wasn't he offered the title?

Had he not proved that he was a good friend?
They were all he had, he couldn't afford to lose them. He agreed to the swear, but he didn't think that breaking such a promise would have such dire consequences.

He'd take it all back if he could, he didn't mean to.

He just wanted to belong, and he was sorry.

...maybe he isn't? Maybe this is how it's supposed to be?

If the swords sang a song of harmony...then why was he always solo...?
