Here's a brand new character I adopted from
-Koda- . I've had the idea for this character for a while now, and once I saw this girl I knew she was a perfect fit! Though she won't be appearing in the story until the third story arc, I still intend to get a fair share of art for her!
Amara’s real name is lost to the sands of time, but what is known is that she and her two sisters were once human bodyguards to an Egyptian high priestess in ancient times. That all changed on the fateful day they did battle with another priest by the name of Amahk. Obsessed with the gods, he sought to challenge them. To do so, he acquired dark powers beyond anyone’s comprehension and attempted to summon the god Anubis to fight and overcome him. However, he was stopped at the last minute by the priestess and her bodyguards, and was sentenced to mummification. That soon turned out to be a mistake, as it was discovered that some of Amahk’s dark power still lingered. It seemed as though he could one day return, and if he did he would be stronger than ever. To make sure that never happened, Amara and her sisters were blessed with supernatural powers of their own, turning them into feline warriors and granting them immortality and incredible strength. Their new task would be to watch over Amahk’s body, locked away in an ancient Egyptian temple, and make sure he is never reawakened. As for the priestess herself? She would go on to become one of the four goddesses that would watch over the balance between the Inner and Outer Worlds, though that is a story for another time.
For centuries, they would carry out their task, watching over the sarcophagus that held Amahk’s body. Eventually though, the body would be found by a group of archaeologists on an expedition funded by the Red Sun corporation. The body itself is transported to London to be displayed in a museum. Amara and her sisters follow them there and track down the vehicle carrying the sarcophagus, attacking it. This action catches the attention of Wolf Team, who fight and ultimately stop them believing them to be bad guys. Soon after, Amahk is accidentally released from his prison and starts rampaging through the city. Realising their mistake, Wolf Team join forces with the three warriors in an attempt to stop him. They succeed following a deadly battle, and afterwards the warriors decide to stay in London for a while and learn more about the modern age. Amara herself becomes quite taken to music, and decides to learn to play some herself.
I hope you like her, and you can look forward to seeing more of her in the future!
