The first two are a before-and-after: originally, Mercus never had earholes for his hoodie. That is, until Zantor Zenodex took a pair of scissors to it... after forcing Mercus to take it off... in a public street. XD (Actually, that last run-on sentence is an idea I have for a short comic, so this hasn't "officially" happened yet).
Tried to make his jeans look faded/acid-washed. Did I succeed?
