I take it you haven't played much of the games. :P Albert Wesker originally worked with Chris, Jill, and Barry on the S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue Squad) team for Raccon city. From the beginning, he was a double crosser; he was tasked with testing his team and the newly developed B.O.W.s (Bio Organic Weapons, if memory serves) on each other and report the data back to higher ups within Umbrella. He then later double crossed Umbrella for third party companies like itself, but who were willing to pay more. Afterwords, I can't say much other than that he has lost his humanity almost entirely.

He's a sick and disgusting individual in my eyes, though no one can really not appreciate his bad ass demeanor and abilities. To me, he's cool as a character in a game, but I would absolutely hate it if he were real.
