As you can see, the reference style, company logo, and cybernetics on his chest are similar to Ayden's. This is because Ayden saved him from an accident in which he unfortunately lost his legs. However, he now has better ones, including fluffy, squishy paws that Ayden managed to give him.

But that's not the only reason for the similarities. The second reason is that they fell in love with each other. Even though Kenji isn't an immortal aspect of Raishin like Ayden and won't live forever, they still deeply love each other. Ayden is constantly thinking of ways to extend Kenji's life; he already added many years to it by saving him from the accident. I just love these two lovebirds. <3
