he's my hero too and I loved him a great deal. However I have always believed there was more to Hobbes than Watterson let on, considering hwo he liked to fuck with the heads of Calvin's parents and how he actually now and then interacted with the physical world. Hmm I think Hobbes was probably a totem spirit of some sort that guided Calvin through life
He was my hero too! As a kid I was really smart as I am to this day and I really believe that Hobbes was my hero, cause he was always the smart one of the two. He was the one who was kind and intelligent, always trying to be the saving grace of the wayward Calvin, like an older brother which I was. I think that he guided me just as he guided Calvin through his world.
