Arlene stood silently on the rooftop, the rain falling steadily around her, lost in thought as she looked out over the neon-lit city. As the Director of SPEAR, the weight of her responsibilities pressed heavily on her shoulders. Shoulders that were no longer her own, long since replaced with powerful, advanced cybernetics. On nights like these, sleep wouldn't come, instead battling ghosts of the past whenever she dared to shut her singular eye. Despite it all, she stood firm, steeling herself against the rain. She had an entire organization depending on her, and if gainful rest meant facing the monsters who ruined her body and scarred her mind, then she'd fight them again and again.
