Oh, no! xD
I've always disliked painting (I'm left-handed, so a lot of mediums don't work out in certain ways) but I have wanted to get better, really only to paint clouds and skies scenes. *shrugs and grins*
At the moment, I'm working with just regular pencils and I'm practicing inking, as I want to take up graphic novels.
I'll be happy to take in any tips you could give (or note) me, I need them!

With the pencil, the only thing i can tell you is: be patient. To fullfill a background you will need a LOT of patience XD
Be patient, because if you want a smooth look into your piece, you'll have to paint the same place many many times. Do you see the dragon's wing? I wasn't really patient when i was painting the right wing [from the viewer]. I was tired of drawing that day. But do you see the head? At least to me, the head looks better... And i did it slowly, stroking the pencil in the same spot many times.
Be patient, because if you want to darker a spot, you can't stroke the pencil harder. Doing so, you'll "hurt" the paper. The area where you did a harder stroke will be marked. You'll have to stroke and stroke and stroke again, until it get dark enough. Basically the same thing i said before XD
So... Patience :3
And i can't see why a left-handed person can't paint with watercolors. Thre's nothing i use that is made for right-handed people o..o

Thanks SO MUCH!
I'm trying to get as much help as I can because I stopped coloring my drawings a LONG time ago (I only color small stuff now, nothing that matters), so I'm a bit more than rusty!
I have had problems with hurting the paper, especially with markers.
Oh, no I'm not saying I can't paint with them. I meant that when I use mediums that can smear or smudge (especially charcoal and paints), it's a struggle for me because of the way I move across the paper. Lefties benefit more from moving right to left in a drawing, but I took up drawing from left to right, so my wrist drags across the drawing!
But I'm quite sure, as you said, patience will help me! The motivation's already there, I just need to find the peace and time!
