So...I don't remember why I got this one, other than I do, in fact, enjoy King Sombra as a pred. One of the few 'villains' I like in the role overall. I don't like letting the bad guy win, but for him...well he kind of EARNED his wins. Every time he's beaten, it's because the good guys pull out something that is literally a deus ex machina.
And in the Gen4 Ponies, despite it being regular in Gen1, he's the only villain(outside of the movie) to get legit murdered. Mostly because he adapted after every defeat, and if he'd kept coming back, well, eventually he'd win just by sheer bloodymindedness.
