The first of many private surf lessons. This time Ola is simply teaching the basics of getting comfortable on the board in a spot where the waters are calm.

This piece was done in advance of me going to my sister's wedding in Mexico. After a long week of anxiety, frustration and art block, I decided to try something different by including my own character in a full size illustration. I wanted to do something that developed Ola's character and brought my character's closer to my friend and client's characters after all these years. It worked amazingly and i maanged to bang this entire piece out in just 2 days and I couldn't be happier with the results.
