Funny story; when I first played Pokemon Sapphire back when I was in middle school, I thought that if I bred a Plusle and a Minun in the daycare they'd lay a Pichu egg. This was before Bulbapedia (or at least before I knew about it) so it took me several tries and a game guide magazine (remember those?) to figure out that's not how that works.
