Probably the hardest part on photographing lizards is spotting them before they would zip away. Once you were successful (after like 1 or 2 hours of sitting right next to a reasonably large and painfully thorny bush where the darn thing hid), you can easily follow them if you are careful (And did not lost all your patience previously). Especially these European Green Lizards, their blue throat just shines like a flashlight in a cave for your ease.
The camera was my old Olympus C2500L (1999, made in Japan) of course, I had to use 3x optical zoom as he wouldn't let me nearer than at about a meter. But that was a large lizard, so it was just the right size for that zoom and distance.
This one now had a full-length tail unlike my previous find :)

Látom, az is zöld gyík - fura! Amiket én láttam, azok meg sem álltak, rohangáltak, néha meg harcoltak. A fürge gyíkokat találtam olyannak, hogy jól el lehetett velük szórakozni fotózással, azok, ha rájuk nem léptél észre nem véve őket, maradnak, nem sokat mozognak, meg nem is félnek annyira. De az is lehet, helyi sajátosság is - itt sokszor sétáltatnak kutyákat a hegyen, azok meg azonnal nekimennek a gyíkoknak, a zöld gyík hímek meg elég hangosak és feltűnőek.
