A beautiful commission I got from ! A dramatic and visually stunning mural depicting some of the lore of my Snake-God character Serpus.

Sepus is a primordial deity, a creature of cosmic power from beyond the borders of our dimension. Borne from the Abyss, the dark ocean of chaos that constitutes the dark vaccum between dimensions.
Initially benevolent, Serpus adopted a role of a creator, shaping an unclaimed world to their whims.

However, being a creature of darkness, they inevitably caught the attention of rival deities of light.
Serpus was struck down, their world scoured clean, with precious few of their creations fleeing underground to hide. They were bound deep beneath the world alongside their remaining children, shackled with luminous chains that burned and sapped their strength.

There Serpus remins to this day, but they are far from helpless. From the bowels of the world, they reach out in dreams and incarnations, spreading their influence among mortals in the hopes of one day breaking free and claiming vengeful justice against those who wronged them.
