Ira, being an eminent classic Blue mage personality type of course gets my favorite blue spell in recent memory: Telemin Performance.

Making Shard here drink a quite toxic beverage that could eat through his guts like acid is just the icing on the control cake. Torturing him by burning away his thought processes and memories is just as sweet a perk.

I loved Telelmin Performance. Especially to use against other control decks. It can mill them almost to nothing since control players often use few creatures. And if they do, they're bombs.

I haven't found a new place for it yet, but I'm sure there are a lot more nasty blue decktypes I haven't considered amongst the dozens I've thought of over the years.
