Though I haven't gotten Dragon Age II (waiting for the price to drop) that hasn't stopped me from feeling the excitement, especially since my bro Sarah got it and thus hasn't shut up about it.
I don't blame her though because I haven't shut up about Pokemon so we're even.
ANYWAYZ. So we're talking and of course we're like WELL WHAT IF OUR CHARACTERS WERE IN DRAGON AGE VERSE and then my brain's like I ENJOY THIS IDEA so we went on a tangent and nestled our human characters comfortably into Dragon Age.
This is Renee (I don't think I've shown her here before in any verse) she's an undiscovered mage, like many of her family, with a specialization in shape shifting. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Shapeshifter Badass.
Her grandparents were a mercenary and a mage stolen from the Circle. Some time after her grandmother, the mage, was returned home to her noble father she ended up marrying the mercenary that brought her back. Since both were being hunted for various reasons they made a home in the wilderness some ways from the town her father resided in. There they started a farm and lived off the land and had twin sons, who later grew and married. Eventually this secluded homestead grew to have many homes and buildings for all the extended family, and all of them work together to cultivate the land and live pleasantly.
Because they only visit the main town some ways away for supplies they can't make themselves they're fairly isolated, which means many of the usual Ferelden social norms and hangups aren't as strictly observed. It helped the mercenary and mage that first settled there where raised in areas that nurtured a more open-minded belief system.
All that story telling aside Renee's working in a field, looks like she's bring in some wheat or barely or whatever the crap they farmed. They rotate who works the fields on what days so no one does too much more work than anyone else.
I had funnnn drawing it. Especially the squished boobs. Had to draw squished boobs.
PS- Almost done with Dragon Age: Origins, So much damned fun.
