Say what you like about this situation, but if a tourist is explicitly told not to approach the dragon while it is sleeping, and they defy those orders because they're too rude and stubborn about getting that camera shot...
Is it really the the tour guide's fault if the tourist happens to end up inside the dragon, after the dragon becomes annoyed at said tourist poking it with a stick, trying to get it to 'do something interesting?'
Is it really the dragons fault for finally getting fed up with this complaintive, puny human poking it in the nose, rudely making demands of it, as it simply tried to enjoy the mid-day sun?
Usually the dragons and human sanctuary owners/guests get along quite well, but this nosy human just took a step too far. Luckily, this particular dragon decided to step up, and do all the other more likeable humans a favour, while also fulfilling the tourists wishes. In the dragon's defence, if flying around with such a huge gut, doing flips in the sky to work off it's meal isn't 'interesting'... It wouldn't know what is!
Even better, it gives other more polite tourists a nice show (likely not realizing the bulge is a person), and it means the sanctuary won't have the spend as much money on dragon fodder. It's a win win!
I think most of us have encountered an infuriating tourist or public member at least once while visiting places, or maybe just during work (people working in retail would understand perfectly). Karens can be pretty horrible, so out of amusement, I got the idea for this drawing. This artwork is serving justice to all those poor souls who have had a bad run-in with a Karen, simply wanting someone to pick on.
