Flash died, and I long had this as a project to work on and release.
I have rewritten the player and set it up so it can be viewed again.
Sorry to anyone who might have wanted to see more scenes or suchlike, that is not the case here, this is just a rebuild of the old project.
I did however do this as a test and I do plan to use the player system I have built in future projects. Progress however will be slow.
I am currently doing effectively 60 hour weeks, I love it, but I do not have anything like enough time/energy left to get to all the projects I want to work on...
..that would be true even if I did nothing but work on them however. There is so much I want to do! Some postable here, some part of other projects, some just stuff for my home.
But... I digress, I'm here I'm still alive! Hey everyone! :P

haha thanks xD
That project has also had some work done behind the scenes, but this one is quite a bit more complex as its something of a game engine I wrote in Flash that now needs redoing in effectively Javascript. I acutally also devised my own markup language for the story content, which could be an advantage, since I had a python script to convert that to actionscript, so long as I write some sort of parser for that markup script, I can reuse the content I had written already without too much change to it. If I'm honest though I am still playing with ideas on how to actually implement it in a progressive way.

I'm not sure, I've had another person tell me they had a similar issue when trying to view it on a phone, but Its a bit tricky to troubleshoot mobile devices. It should probably work most places as I used vanilla javascript and chose the file format carefully for compatibility. If you can say what device / browser you were using it could be handy to help me correlate those having problems to specific devices / browsers. Either way, glad you got it working in the end. :)
Thanks, I'll keep this in mind and take a look with Chrome to see if I can replicate it. I did test with chrome prior to posting, even though I'm a firefox user myself. I didn't see any issues or problems. Perhaps it was just an isolated issue or some addon causing a possibly temporary issue. In incognito mode addons are generally disabled I believe.
