More Guild Wars 2 fanart. (this is actually my dad's b-day present)
This is the 2nd painting I've ever done, the first was the one of bo-gilliam's beau.
It's been 2 years since I painted that or touched a paint brush and I never gave traditional painting a fair shot so I just painted something simple and cool: a charr.
Took about 3 hours
Used: acrylic and watercolor

bad milk is bad :[
and thank you XD. I think acrylic paint is more generous in fixing mistakes since you can easily paint over any part after it drys and look as if nothing was underneath it. But what do I know :P, the only traditional pieces I do mainly are pencil sketches.

uhh...I never took any classes so I'm not sure how it goes but does your college have art history? b/c several artists say learning about the golden age painters have helped them improve in many factors of drawing: depth, perspective, colors, etc.
Afterward, you can take life drawing which I'm sure would help immensely on anatomy as well as capabilities of a human body.
Other than that, I don't know.

lol I don't mean to say your digital art is bad. But I think your traditional art stands out because you don't have a laggy tablet. Therefore, you can put more time and effort into a piece. And yes, I know paints can be hard to prepare and cost a bit of money, but I would definitely consider...
