Later in life, Oakley begins to assess his choice of staying in his middle-evolution stage. He cannot deny a main draw of staying as a Nuzleaf was to remain small for kink reasons. However, once his libido starts to cool off after years of happy marriage with Cyrano, he decides the boost to his power would be more beneficial in his line of work and finally makes the plunge. The leaf stone he discovered long ago during an expedition finally fulfils its purpose. It takes time for Oakley to accept his new form. His newfound command over the wind is clumsy and difficult to control. He is constantly tripping over his own feet. Luckily, Cyrano is there to support Oakley and cherish his new form, giving Oakley the confidence that he made the right decision. Around this time, new instincts also compel Oakley to form a pack. Maybe it is time to talk with Cyrano about raising a child together.
