Renex is a very dear character to me...
I've had him since 2014, and he's based on a Sacrier class from Wakfu.

He's not a persona of mine, but I do share with him parts of personality and life experience. I relate to him a lot.

This art is about a trauma both I and Renex went through.
The Lily of the Valley is a favourite flower of our ex-lovers... Renex is holding it, feeling anger and spite, before dropping it to the ground. And the red string wrapped around his other hand, symbolises that there is somewhere real love soulmate waiting for him.

Renex was in a relationship where he was feeling used, looked down upon. He was never on par with his ex-lover, who would swear he loves him, only to later put him down or use him. Very similar to what I have experienced...

I recenly saw a post on Twitter...

"If you could delete someone from your life. All the memories. All the life lessons. Every interaction. gone. Would you?"

As long as it wouldn't change where I am right now? Yes, I would.

Enabling this person in my life is what I regret. But at this moment in life I am happy with my quality of life and the people I have around me and it would be a shame to lose it all. Of course If i hadn't met them, thigns would be different. But who knows if for better or worse. I worked hard to recover and be happy where I am atm, and wouldn't want to lose any of it.
