Seems Jay was the only child for quite a while. Hope his parents spoiled him!

Not much, really.

Most of his childhood, his mom was away because of job. Most of the time, he experienced his biological dad's anger issues. Years until Juni was born and his parents just broke their relationship. Jay was being taken care by people his mom hired while she's working. Basically he experienced lots of bad stuff with them, shaping his cowardly and a little rebellious personality.

Till his mom met his stepdad (Juni met Piettro first since she took care by Mira in his apartment first) and his new family is complete again. Piettro can be strict and sometimes hurtful to Jay, but he's way better than Jay's biological dad. He's sometimes even against Jay getting low grades in school, criticizing his abilities to help them in their house, and he's being compared to other people his age while faking his sleep. He survived that tho after finishing high school and two year college. He tried his best to help his family by finding a job, while Piettro is still doing his best as a policeman in a different city.

Jay just then decided to rent his own apartment at age 22 because he wants to live his own personal life.

That's a shame. But thank you for telling me more about their history.

They are based on them but a little. In real life, I have 4 siblings, two from my biological dad, and two from my stepdad.
