Another piece from April, 2009. This features my characters Svein (the grey wolf) and Graff (the warthog). They live in a primitive culture/location (where horse/wagon and walking are the main types of travel), and happen to come across each other while on their own separate travels (Graff having just left home for the first time, and Svein being an already seasoned vagabond himself), and end up travelling together for the better part of a year.
Not that the situation is smooth sailing, by any means XP They're both polar opposites (given how they were raised and lived) and clash in mannerism and actions frequently. Graff tends to be strict in morals and behaviour, while Svein is loud and bawdy, and not above committing moderately questionable acts.
The warthog is often dismayed at witnessing or being dragged into said acts (especially considering the trouble it could or does get them in). He's always quick to give the wolf an earful afterwards, to which Svein, being Svein, just shrugs off and laughs at Graff for being so uptight. Hence, this image depicting a classic example of ;)
