The Doctor:"Mr. Bear,your child has responded excellently and is going to recover very soon. It appears that your child is allergic to certain foods and that it caused a reaction in his body. I give you a list of what Tommy can and can not eat. "
Father Bear:"Oh, thanks God! Thank you, Doctor, you've given me the biggest news in my life! Can I see my son now ? "
The Doctor:"Sure, but he will need to stay a couple of hours for the medication he is taking".
Within minutes,Father Bear saw Tommy's face beaming with happiness!
Tommy:"Papa!"
Father Bear:"I brought you your favorite teddy bear and a balloon, the balloon is your favorite color! Your grandparents are coming here, in minutes! Oh Tommy I'm so happy!"
And a tear began to peek through the face of Father Bear.
Tommy:"Oh Dad, don't cry ... because I cry too!"
Father Bear:"These tears are of happiness, my son!"
And in that room what prevailed was the joy and hope!

Tommy is ok! Life is gonna be a little sad knowing what you can and cannot eat! But what you could be allergic to,could be something you don't like anyway!
With me,I can't eat shrimp! Those things make me vomit! Cheap soda makes me break out in itchy rashes! So If I'm being a jerk,just threaten me with those things! I'll leave very fast!
Due to my sickness,I'm not suppose to eat so much sugar! But forget that!
I see that Tommy is on one of those "iv drip" thingies!
I remember those things all too well!
Couldn't leave till,thing was finished!
Both of the times I had to go,I was feeling no pain! At least till they stabbed one of my butt cheeks with a long thick needle! The nurse said it was a pain killer injection! I asked her,"I'm in pain now! When does the pain killer kicks in?!?!"!
Believe me! Hospitals suck!

Yuck!Shrimp!I hate that too! I am a good eater, but I dislike certain foods. Pork chops, pig's feet, and steak! Because of fat, my stomach does not tolerate much fat and I get really sick! We must protect the diet and learn to eat healthy! But I wonder ... why the best meals are the most that hurt? Hospitals suck!And it scares me the injections! Thanks a lot my funny bear friend!
You don't like porkchops and steak? On those two,I like them cut thinly and a little over done! All that other stuff,pigs feet,shrimp,and other stuff,I can't stand!

I can eat pork chops and steak, but very little and small potions! But the fried chicken and stew ... I devoured it in one sitting! The nurses here where I live, bury those needles until you see the planets in the solar system!OUCH!For this reason I do not like hospitals!...but without them one could not survive!
You make me laugh! The nurses should be careful! Planets of the solar system indeed! Chicken! My father raised me and my brother on chicken! Too much if you asked me! I like the chicken tenders and breast better! I will buy the 10 piece dark box of chicken! My dogs will get most of the pieces! Stew! I stew!

Phew... that was a good scare but at least Tommy will be OK... Just have to watch what his eating.... Something I've notice and I'm glad that you've notice it also with you 2 drawings... I work in schools as an electrician and I've notice that kids are more and more allergic to things like food and even substance... this kinda thing has augmented a lot since these last years... I think that were losing our natural defense because of all these chemicals and genetics modification in foods

"Adelante, Señor Jack!"
Jack le da un paquete envuelto en papel de regalo a Tommy> "Es mi último libro, Tommy. No sale a la venta hasta el próximo mes, así que eres el primer niño del mundo en tenerlo."
Tommy abre, tembloroso, el paquete: "Magic Tail y el arcoiris de plata"?!? Me lo autografías?"
Jack solamente s ríe: "Página 1, por favor"
"Para Tommy, mi admirador número 1, Con mis mejores deseos y todo mi cariño, Springheel Jack"
"Gracias, Señor Jack!!"
"Las gracias las debo dar yo, por haberlos conocido a tí y a tu papá. hijo, Espero que lo disfrutes. Ahora, les ruego me disculpen, debo retirarme. Estoy de voluntario en la campaña de vacunación contra el sarampión y debo estar en mi mesa en diez minutos. Espero que nos veamos de nuevo, amigos"
