“C’mon, just one more. You’re two bites away, just eat it! You know we’re not going anywhere until you finish that!”

Just a little bit of art practice I did, based on my usual experience trying to raise Chao Stamina. The Chao rejecting the fruit because I fed them semi recently, forcing me to sit and watch them so I can hand the fruit right back. Knowing full well that this will only give four EXP blocks and that any hope of maxing the stat before their next life cycle would mean force feeding them more fruit than their body weight ten times over. That stat really was not designed with min-maxers in mind (and in SA1 it was even worse)…but it makes for good fat fuel. Surprised no one else has gone this angle with it.

As for the lack of background, a part of me considered using this for digital art practice too, transferring and sketching/coloring over these characters on my computer, before plonking them into a screenshot of the actual Chao Garden. Think I’m gonna leave that on the back burner for now, though that’s certainly a field that needs the practice. I think these sketches are passable for amateur traditional art, but anything short of sprite art I do digitally, including tracing my traditional stuff, comes out looking like a five-year-old’s drawing.
