Theo Meridian
A fan character for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, this time of my own devising. Theodolite "Theo" Meridian is a brightly-colored pegasus pony with a talent for cartography and navigation. As such his cutie mark is a compass rose, earned when a spot of bad luck stranded him alone in the wilderness with an injured wing. After spending a while feeling helpless and terrified, Theo managed to gather his wits and recall the layout of the landscape as he'd seen it from the air. Through some rational thinking and hoof-drawn maps in the dirt, he was able to navigate his way home to safety, his cutie mark appearing on his flank as he emerged from the wood.
Socially he tends to be a bit shy and reserved, generally content to remain quiet unless he's got something to say, which only tends to happen once he's given careful thought to a matter. His desire to avoid notice however tends to be flummoxed by his bright coloration, which doesn't exactly blend in.
