Seeing as May 20th was a random Mechwarrior holliday... type.... thing... HAPPY TUKAYYID DAY!!
i finally got this odd idea out.
Maybe it's because I've watched too much Gundam, but having a cockpit in the head- just seems oddly unnatural now. Just seems like an awkward and exposed location- like, if you're already on top of a building, why would you wanna be balancing on top of a LADDER, atop that building?? The armor you can equip up there is minimal, and just about every gamer on the planet, knows how to score a head-shot. If anything goes wrong, its and extra dozen feet to your fall- plus if you fall over, seems like you could get whiplashed right thru the window!
So i wanted to show a bit of dizzying discomfort, and maybe some claustrophobia, that'd be associated with being strapped into one of these Mechs. ..Because no one said these mechs were built for COMFORT! ;3
Incidentally, turns out peeps in my stream knew more about Mechwarrior lore than i do.... how is this Centurion a MEDIUM Mech?! it's got, like... TWO guns! O.o
