*reads "focal length" 0mm* o.o what lens did you use???

A macro lens I made. The focal length is a few hundred micro inches or so

damn.. now that's a true macro lens... besides a microscope XD

yeah but it kind of sucks because of its shallow depth of field.
as you can see his head has parts that are too far away to be in focus... like the snowflake shots, if its not exactly flat and small enough, it will have too much depth to photograph correctly ;/

A nice ring flash would be awesome too, cuse I cant seem to ever get enough light evenly across the subject, when the subject is tiny and the lens is huge and blocks out the sun fffff I have to shoot at MOST an inch away from the subject too, so its hard when taking shots of bugs especially flies, it takes a ton of patience to sit there n try to focus on them with out them moving away, the ant was scared and "hiding" in a crac of the cement, and the fly seemed dazed and confused walking around washing his face so I took pix while i could, it was pretty damn hard though
