There's a reason why the Mediterranean is such a draw for British tourists, and visitors from other northern European climes. The sun is definitely a draw, but Britain gets warm days as well (just less frequently). The food is pretty good, but what good supermarket doesn't have pasta or olives or seafood? Personally, I think it's for scenes like this. The sea just doesn't do this outside of the Mediterranean, not in Europe, at least.
