Not my usual fare, and not the best photo, but hey. It works.

I had a sentimental thing my mom got for me when I was a teenager--one of those tacky wolf busts that every wolf girl ends up with, I think--but it broke after she died and I couldn't bring myself to get rid of it. Eventually, I just started painting it and had an idea of turning it into Amaterasu and filling in the broken bits with silk flowers. I covered up the epoxy I used to fill in finer cracks with gold because it seemed thematically appropriate.
