Hello, fellas! There was a disaster in our family. We have four pretty cats: Marten, Kyle, Amich and White. Everyone is healthy and active, but White has always been distinguished by calmness and laziness. He has different eyes and is deaf, he has collected all the main mutations of white cats. It turned out that he also has a very sensitive gastrointestinal tract. All our kids eat the same food, but it's too heavy for him and he needed a dietary food.

At the end of last week, he became ill, vomited every couple of minutes and screamed. We took him to the clinic, where they said he had acute pancreatitis... and they said we'd have to give him painkillers and other creepy things for the rest of his life, or we need to put him to end-sleep...
Something inside told us that this was some kind of nonsense and we took him to another clinic, with good and really caring doctors for animals. He doesn't have pancreatitis! But still, the problem is serious, it has gastritis of the entire gastrointestinal tract.
It could have been provoked by his usual dry food, because it's for ordinary cats. Or wet food, which always has a lot of additives (even in Purina), which he ate the last couple of days before he got sick. Either his weak body has caught an infection, but the rest of our cats are fine.
We are not sure, but his gastritis is very serious. And he needs to put a lot of meds in a drip every day for another week. And to do blood tests and repeated ultrasounds to make sure that he is on the mend. While he feels better than in the first days and no longer vomits, he is given lidocaine, omez, an antibiotic and spazgan. We sit with him for several hours.
But there are still many procedures to be performed.
