She inspires calm. When her voice sounds in your head, you are ready to tell her everything. She'll keep it all a secret. But don't forget to compliment her on her looks. It's important for her calmness.
Vera spent her childhood in the "Red Dawn" Nature Reserve. The reserve has been threatened with closure for years. But it functioned until 2000. This was an artificially created Soviet reservation for anthropomorphs to preserve their species and study their impact on the environment. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the reserve lost its funding and it was decided to release the anthropomorphs to socialise with human society. The research data was sold to the United States and since then the States Department of State has done nothing for the anthropomorphs. How they used the data remains a secret.
The former Soviet society was not ready for such an experience, but they accepted the anthros as their equals. Humans helped them find jobs, housing and escape persecution from foreign intelligence services. Strange news stories appeared about mysterious disappearances of anthros throughout the Soviet Union. Someone was kidnapping them right out of their homes. No trace of them was ever found.
Vera was a child and her family was in good standing with the new government - they worked in commerce. They were able to keep her safe, but she had to learn with human children.
While the adults were willing to support the anthropomorphs, the children were not so conscientious. In class, they teased her about her long-nosed and long-legs tower. She was given the nickname "White Tower" and with this clue she finished eleven grades. She used to hide her eyes from people and keep quiet.
When the PAS project opened, Foundation staff came to pick it up and test it out. Vera showed excellent results and was accepted into Pavel's Studio as a research assistant and staff psychologist. Since then, she has received daily compliments and love from the entire PAS staff and her kin. She's not used to it
