Project Star Seed: Herbivore Spiders
This time we're briefly returning to the World of Ki where Aisha observes some evolved herbivorous spiders. Both of the featured species are descendants of the Sprout Spoody.
The Graspah Spoody is a rather lanky, long-legged arachnid that has specialized in browsing on taller vegetation. Its long, grasping front legs pull down tall mosses and grasses for it to feed.
The Dug-Dug Spoody, on the other hand, has taken the opposite route. Staying true to its ancestor's lifestyle, it remains close to the ground, digging up roots and freshly sprouted plants.
Both Spoodies are a common sight in the undergrowth of the mossy forests and open grasslands.
