I'm super excited! This piece is actually on it's way to my hometown Talkeetna as we speak to be viewed amongst my sister's artwork: she's been showing and selling for years now in public, and I've been so inspired to join her in gallery work for the last year or so.
This is inspired by actual mushrooms I've seen around my neighborhood: I seriously live in a little fairy paradise. <3
Done with Acrylics: I've been getting it prepped for print on redbubble, but the original is available for sale at $180. (I cut the Alaska artist hourly rate in half since this is my first actual attempt at selling original paintings.)
This piece means a lot to me: I originally was going to paint JUST the mushrooms on a dark background, but the light dabbling came completely of it's own accord, which I love. <3
Nervous about my prices, but I didn't even include cost of supplies yet. Simply the hourly costs. Seems like a good place to start.
