I wanted to improve at art so I set out and drew a mannequin as an "start from basics" attempt (left). I showed it around and a friend told me I should rather start with boxes and shadow as my observation ability looks screwed. After a few hours boxes and shadow training, with real life boxes and light, I felt like taking another attempt at the mannequin (right).
