I knew I shouldn't have listened. Usually, I was so smart, so clever, so keen to avoid listening to my cohort's bright ideas. Which, in hind sight, are never actually terribly bright. You can't light a dark room with a bulb that's broken, is how I always thought of her. Every once in a while, she'd be rambling and something would suddenly make sense, but she'd always pass on by it, never the wiser. Always a fluke, a fat chance of some sort. So when we sat outside of a target residence, waiting for one of those damn dogs to come walking out of the front door, unguarded and vulnerable, I shouldn't have listened when she suggested a trip to a local fast food joint so we could munch while we waited.

I should've said no. I should've explained how if we miss the opportunity, there won't be a second chance, we have to be ready. But it was like negotiating with a sack of flour.

A sack of flour I didn't expect to practically beg like a dog.

Long story short, we missed our opportunity. But at least I got her to eat a veggie burger this time. She wasn't too happy about that, the big baby...

Why do I always do these at 4 in the morning? Why?

The word inspiration/theme for this one was obviously "Please". I imagine Sam has to do a lot of begging to get Jillian to do anything not serious and boring... well, not boring by crazy Sam's standards anyway. So this was pretty easy to do. Pretty easy to plan anyway, not so easy to sketch. I love cars, cannot draw them to save my life.
