Swap for Science (Body Swap) [3/3] by dez-a-sketch

Sure enough, as I came to & my vision corrected itself, I was staring straight at myself. My body was looking rather smug and typing on Cosmo's tablet, but it also had Cosmo's blue irises and her voice coming out of its mouth. Did she turn herself into me, or... wait a second, my head is angled *down* toward my body. Am I taller than before? I angled my eyeline straight downward, and... now I'M Cosmo??
After a brief moment of stunned confusion, I pieced together what exactly this experiment was. I realized that I'm not wearing Cosmo's blue heart belt, which would've prevented her body from being modified. Plus, her experiments tend to not modify clothing, so we couldn't have properly transformed into each other either. And with that weird phantom feeling of my consciousness being moved...? This had to have been a surprise body-swap experiment, presumably for us to test walking a mile in each others' shoes.
Cosmo (now in my body) continued typing away on her tablet with a self-satisfied expression, encouraging me to enjoy her body while I have it. I took a moment to really take in my new height & Cosmo's feminine alien body. I tried walking around a bit with the stride of Cosmo's long legs & ended up behind her. One glance at her tablet revealed just how much she had already typed about the experiment results. She must have recovered from that big zap much faster than I did; it'd make sense, since she certainly knew it was coming. She's always been one to be in control, after all.
After one last flourish of her tablet, Cosmo concluded her post-experiment results form. She slyly motioned for me to follow her to a different testing room, presumably so we could further try out each others' bodies. I trailed behind my body with a small spring in my step; her experiments have always been harmless & temporary, so a spark of eagerness crossed my face as I looked forward to whatever tests Cosmo had ready for me.
