Ok, little venting from my part: Why would they not explain this before?? I would've expected a little tutorial about how fusion worked, rather than the instructions being on a completely optional interaction in the Pokemon center. If I had known about this, I wouldn't be stuck with a 2010's virtual pet and a paralysis demon... welp, at least I know now!

There was a new update a while back, but I think you need to join their discord server. Idk, I'll check that later.

Yeaaah. I'm of the potentially controversial opinion that Infinite Fusion is, when you get right down to it, actually a pretty crappy fangame. Basically everything (including things as simple as having the doors open and shut when you walk through them, something even the GBA games had) has been sacrificed on the altar of getting the fusions working, and whilst the fusions are fun to look at in a YouTube video (or, in this case, in a nuzlocke comic), they are sorely in need of a better game to service their existence
Honestly? Fusions aside, if you want a better overall fangame experience without it being too hard, Realidea System, Uranium, and Xenoverse are all way better options. Granted there are very good reasons not to try and nuzlocke the latter two.
Sure, the barrel of badness goes pretty deep (Empire? Edelweiss? I'm looking at you), but that by no means makes Infinite Fusion good, or even less bad by comparison - all it means is that the very worst fangames are a special kind of bad, while IF is merely garden variety bad... which in some respects actually makes it even less worth playing because it's not even bad in an interesting way unlike Edelweiss...
