I felt really stressed this morning from an argument I had with a friend yesterday evening. I decided I needed to do something to relax. I needed to walk in the fresh air & eat a real breakfast. I needed to be around kind people. So I walked to the nearby Le Peep restaurant.
The staff of the location on the corner are always very kind to me. I asked for a children's menu because I like to doodle whenever the opportunity arises. When I sat at my table, I noticed a divider wall was covered in art made by guests. Most of them definitely were crafted by children, but I've never let that petty stuff stop me! I sketched a semi-3D slice of their amazing cinnamon & brown sugar cake & added my Fursona wolf to the side. I thought "If I'm going to make art to be displayed, I should pick something I know I'm good at drawing." I consider this my new, personal best piece of her. I told my nice waitress "I made you this as part of your tip." She loved it. Oh my gosh.
