....idk...doesn't seems fitting for the spirit of the final boss fight....maybe is one obligatory step to unlock the good ending..where they learn that true meaning of the journey is the friends we made along the way

I tend to interpret this as a "romhack" that Sully made to blow off steam, so I don't think there's any friendship or learning on the other side of that level. More likely whatever Sully thinks he can win by "defeating" Emmet (possibly a big hoard of snacks)
