I mean as an Aro-Ace person with an astatic attraction to men I get what you mean. I find myself jealous of skinny dudes like this but my attraction mostly stays when there is a bit of chub. also is this a transformation or just someone wearing a fursuit head/tail?

I'm happy to hear you can relate, in a sense. I'd like to get over it, because I don't want to make people feel bad for working out, and it's not even a goal of mine to look like that... It's just me being petty and greedy, and my jealousy can hurt others. I like a bit of chub too, I like all sorts of body types.

I certainly get envious, simply because never in my life have I ever looked fit myself. I'm jealous because men like that could say, easily without a second thought go to a beach or pool, where it's expected for men to be shirtless, and exist and live their best lives, but I'm so self conscious and self critical I can't even go to such places let alone bring myself to be shirtless anywhere anyone can see. I would just love a fraction of the amount of confidence fit and sexy people have.

To have confidence has less to do with one's physical appearance and more to do with one's mentality. Everyone is human, and I feel that even if someone has a sculpted body, they might still feel just as nervous as you or I going to a space where you are expected to be in a swimsuit or such. Likewise, I feel that there are plenty of people who are comfortable going to the beach even if they don't spend any time on their appearance (and that is okay).

Here's hoping you can find the confidence to live your best life. If other people have a problem with it, they can go buzz off. People have problems with everything. I'm sure the person in my picture has to deal with people making negative comments about wearing their fursuit head and tail.

Recognising the envy is the first step! Drawing it in a fashion that makes them look agreeable is the next! You'll get there Rob, there's certainly something "spicy" about you having drawn this despite of it all.

Thank you. I think drawing this has helped me move past my envy a bit, and the good thing is that I can always come back to see this whenever I feel that envy, as a reminder.

How id love to suit at those summer cons, though I’ve never had the opportunity.
